Saturday - May 18, 2002

The last two days of the workshop were spent negotiating and discussing the final text of the Rio Branco Comittment, which will be made available on this website tomorrow. This was done in both smaller groups and all together in a plenary.

In the evening it was time for some of the participants to say farewell.
Sister Martha Mwasu Waziri from Tanzania, who does not speak any of the workshop's official languages said good-bye with a song from her country, having the remaining participants echo the chorus.

Also Benki Ashaninka sang a shamanic tune for good luck before he left for his village.
